PC gamers who have been waiting for 15 years to play Duke Nukem Forever can now decide if the long delayed first person shooter will run on their gaming rigs. Developer Gearbox Software has now revealed the minimal and recommended PC system requirements for the game.

The system requirements were revealed on Gearbox's community web site, well ahead of the game's current release date of June 14 in the US and June 10 in other parts of the world. Here they are:

The system requirements also mention that a one time internet connection via Steam will be required for PC players in order to play the game. Gearbox had revealed earlier this year that the PC version of the game will use Valve's Steamworks game development tools which will provide PC gamers with features like achievements, leaderboards, matchmaking for online multiplayer matches and more.

We are still awaiting for Gearbox Software to release word about the much anticipated and promised demo for Duke Nukem Forever which should give everyone a chance to see if the 15 year old wait for this game is going to be worth it.
